First Church's Response to the COVID-19 Virus

Can I ask for prayers?

Of course. You may submit them in advance by clicking here, or you can send Pastor Peter a message during the virtual church broadcasts.

What about pastoral care?

Pastor Peter is available, even if he's not in the office. Voicemail, e-mail, Facebook, all go directly to him and he will respond as soon as he can.

What about the offering?

First Church depends on the offering collected on Sunday mornings. Please either mail your offering to the church or click here to give electronically with a credit or debit card, or through PayPal.

What about other church activities?

For the most part, church activities have been suspended. Please check with your group leader.

What about groups that use our building?

Groups such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have suspended their meetings. 12-step groups may still meet, but you should check with your leader. 

How long will this last? 

Church leadership is reading updates from the town, our denomination, and the Centers for Disease Control.
