The Christian Education Committee's mission is to develop and enhance the spiritual growth of the church community.  To accomplish this, our education programs must:

• Be rooted in biblical and historic Christian faith;

• Welcome people of all ages to participate in training and enrichment activities;

• Offer a nurturing and supportive environment; and

• Provide guidance that enable people to incorporate their faith in their daily lives.

First Church of Monson's Sunday school loves teaching the Christian faith.  We welcome all children from newborn to grade eight.  We assist children's growth in faith by learning the stories from the bible through mission work, creating art, cooking, singing, dancing, and valuable life lessons.

The children are taught by responsible adults who have gone through a CORI (Criminal Offensive Records Index) background check.  This enables you to trust that your young ones are in good hands.  Sunday school is open September through the beginning of June, with nursery care provided year long.  Children will start in worship and then proceed to Sunday school following the time for children.  The Nursery is open at 9:45 a.m. to give parents an opportunity to get their little ones settled before the start of worship.

Our main goal is to teach our Sunday school children to find love, joy, peace, kindness, and confidence through learning the bible lessons and interaction with not just a church, but a church family.
